VisionCRE's optional Custom Report Tool allows clients to
quickly and efficiently create, print and publish custom reports
from any module in the system.
Unlike third-party tools such as TM1 and Crystal Reports,
Vision's Custom Report Tool includes a detailed data dictionary and
a map of all data relationships, making it very easy for you to
construct the query you require.
The Custom Report Tool integrates with Microsoft Report
Builder, a client-side reporting tool designed to help end
users sidestep the usual challenges of building reports.
With Report Builder you can quickly and easily create graphs
including maps, sparklines and databars that can help produce new
insights well beyond what can be achieved with standard tables and
charts.
The Report Part Gallery is also included in the most recent
release - taking self-service reporting to new heights by enabling
users to re-use existing report parts as building blocks for
creating new reports in a matter of minutes with a "grab and go"
experience.
The Custom Report Tool also allows you to save and publish
reports you've created both to the main VisionCRE application and
to the Web client. Reports are subject to the same access and user
rules as all other modules - so you only expose the reports to
authorised users.
The Custom Report Tool is designed for power users and database
