Our People

Antony Howard

Antony joined Vision in March 2008 as a Technical Analyst, after emigrating from the UK in November 2007 with his wife Sue, and children Josie and James. Antony has a degree in micro-electronics and computing, and extensive experience in the software industry.

When not working, Antony is likely to be found struggling around the Mount trying desperately to keep up with John Nottingham. He has completed 2 marathons to date, and still thinks he's capable of a respectable time. Antony has become a strong All Blacks supporter - except when they're playing England of course. About England, Antony misses endless grey skies, the M6 and Cadbury's chocolate. Soon we'll explain to him that the best chocolate comes from Cadbury's in Dunedin, but not just yet.

Catherine Morley

Catherine began working for Vision Software in May 1997 in Software Support looking after the Real Estate Manager and Property Manager programs. She left in 1999 to pursue a new career in Auckland and returned to us in 2000 prior to departing for the UK in 2001. In March 2003 Catherine was back, to take up a position in our Customer Care Team. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys sport and fashion, and her height and defensive skills are invaluable for the Vision indoor netball team.

Catherine works at Vision three and a half days a week after her second stint of maternity leave, and is a proud mum to her two boys, Ben and Joe (three if you count Gavin).

Deirdre Campion

Deirdre began working for Vision Software in September 2007 as Services Delivery Manager, and is responsible for all clients post installation. Her recent previous experience has been in software development and customer care with Xtra, Peace Software and Canon NZ. She has run her own award-winning cafe and is now a regular at many of the good coffee houses around Tauranga.

In 2007 Deirdre and her husband Ian moved to the BOP from Auckland and is loving the sun and (comparatively) traffic-free roads. Spare time spent with Ian is divided between tramping and hunting in the bush, going to Ohiwa for weekends in the family bach, and hooning around the waterways on Ian's new toy - a high-powered jetski.

Diana Corrigan

Diana joined Vision Software in November 2007 as a Technical Writer. She has a degree in English and extensive documentation and consulting experience. Diana has worked with many blue-chip clients in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom before choosing to settle in the Bay of Plenty. In her free time she relaxes in local cafes, down at the beach, in the garden or reading astrology charts.

Diane Stanbra

Diane joined Vision in February 2008 as Business Development Manager for New Zealand. Diane qualified as an Accountant in London and has worked in a diverse range of property companies. Since 2002 Diane has been a client of Vision Software in property management roles at Trust Investments, Hanover Properties and St Laurence Group.

To ensure the Vision initiation of climbing the Mount was a one-off, Diane will be based in Auckland where the airport, Hauraki Gulf and Ellerslie Racecourse support her interests of travelling, boating and the occasional flutter on the horses. Everyone at Vision has their dollar ready to back her horse when it eventually makes it to the races.

Egard Ullrich

Egard first joined the Vision Software team in February 2006 as a Software Developer, working on our 3D Database Driven Design Project and staying until he moved to Auckland in August 2008. Since then Egard has been working in Auckland and more recently travelling and visiting friends in his homeland.

Originally from Brazil, Egard has a Bachelor of Computing Science degree and has been working in the software industry for the past 10 years. Egard's interests outside work include soccer and walking along Mount Maunganui beach, and we're delighted to have him back at Vision for a 12-month contract.

Gill White

Gill joined Vision in July 2005, and she's a true multi-tasker, providing first and second-line support to our VisionCPM and VisionCRE clients, as well as testing new versions, training staff and clients and assisting with UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Gill has a strong background in computer accounting support, and is often the very welcome first point of contact for users requesting assistance.

Gill has two great boys at primary and intermediate schools, and she spends her spare time running for fitness - and to compete in the Tauranga City to Surf which she did with some panache - and running the boys around in her role as unpaid chauffeur. She made a great centre in the Vision Software indoor netball team too.

Graham Orrick

Graham joined us in December 2003 as a member of the VisionCPM support team, and has now progressed to the role of Technical Business Analyst - this involves configuring and testing new software for clients. Originally from England, where he worked as a developer for British Airways, Graham has been living in New Zealand since October 2003.

He is married to a Kiwi (Erica) and their first child Liam was born in February 2007, with Graham as yet undecided whether he should play soccer for England or rugby for the All Blacks. Kirsten followed in October 2008; sporting preferences are also as yet undetermined. If Graham has any spare time he enjoys listening to music, watching sports, and brewing and drinking his own beer.

Jaco Denton

Jaco joined Vision in July 2011 as a Technical Project Manager after emigrating from South Africa with his wife Antoinette. Having started his career as a software developer, Jaco subsequently gained experience in a range of software industries, working his way up to include positions such as Development Manager, Operations Manager and Project Manager.

Away from work Jaco enjoys taking weekend trips riding on the scenic Bay of Plenty roads on his bike, playing a bit of golf and spending time with Antionette and their two dogs Toechi and Leckisha.

John Nottingham

John is one of Vision's founding Directors and is our Chief Architect. Before the move to software development John was a Veterinary Surgeon. Combining his knowledge of Veterinary science and technology John created our first veterinary practice management application. These days John spends his time with property applications and research and development projects. John and his wife Gloria have three children - James, Tim, and Lucy. As a recent convert to running, John is a regular round-the-mount lunchtime sprinter, and would love to run the Rotorua Marathon if only his aged legs would let him.

Newsflash: In May 2008 John finally ran the Rotorua Marathon in the respectable time (for a man of his advanced years) of 4 hrs, 9 minutes. John declares he has unfinished business and will return to crack 4 hours "at some time in the future."

Joy Lock

Joy started with Vision Software in July 2011 as our Office Manager after a number of years living and working in Rotorua. Joy's career has been focused on administration with many skills gained over the years. After 18 months of commuting between Mt Maunganui and Rotorua, an opportunity to exchange the 2 hours a day commute for a 2-minute walk to work was far too good to pass up.

Joy and her husband Robert are enjoying the much warmer climate, the cafes, pounding the track around Mauao and entertaining their adult sons and daughter from Wanaka, Auckland the United States.

Kate LePetit

Kate joined us in July 2000 to become a member of the VisionVPM software support team. She has since moved to the VisionCPM support team, where she does a variety of tasks including support, training and testing. Originally from Invercargill, Kate is in the process of developing a lifestyle block in Oropi. She is kept broke by her horses, has been known to bike 30km to work on the odd occasion, and holds the Vision record for the most Mount climbs in one day (five). Kate has also travelled extensively.

Mike Dennehy

Mike's IT industry experience dates back to 1980, and he joined Vision in July 1994. One of Vision's Directors and the CEO, Mike also helps clients with property management software solutions that make their jobs easier, reduce business risk and add value to their bottom line.

Mike and his wife Sue have two school-age children, Lauren and Daniel. He enjoys golf, snooker, fishing and beach time with his family, and wishes he used his new Concept 2 rowing machine more often.

Paul Jenness

Paul joined Vision in September 2008 as our Technical Manager after spending 11 years in various IT roles. A gasfitter and plumber by trade, Paul got sick of crawling under floors for a living and enrolled in a Business Computing course. He's still debating whether that was a good move for his sanity!

When not looking after the servers or out doing software installations for Vision's clients, Paul and his wife Cherie are busy completing the building of their house/barn and looking after 4 hectares, 10 cattle, 2 horses, 3 ducks and a dog. They occasionally take time to annoy their neighbour, Kate Le Petit, who happens to work across the road and has been with Vision Software since 2000.

Phil Coleman

Phil joined Vision in March 2006 as a Business Analyst working with the property management applications. Apart from a four-year sabbatical in Mexico, Phil has worked in application design and support since 1987 across a number of platforms, always with a focus on customer requirements.

Away from work Phil helps raise two children with his wife Lupita, mixes guitar lessons with virtuoso practicing, and has been known to swim and jog when encouraged.

Phil Wilde

Phil joined Vision in May 2011 as a Business Analyst, having spent the previous two years doing contract BA work in Tauranga. Prior to that Phil worked for many years at a software company in Auckland, working his way up to a BA role while dabbling in programming, scripting and picking up various other skills along the way.

Phil and his wife Becky have two young boys, and Phil also has an extensive list of hobbies, most of which are gathering dust in some corner of the house (due to the two young boys), although he does find time to play the guitar with his covers band every now and then. Here at Vision Software we like all BAs to play the guitar and be called Phil, so he has fit right in.

Stuart Davison

Stuart joined Vision in May 2011 in a Software Support role, after selling the Early Childhood business he and his wife had owned for more than 3 years. Stuart has extensive experience in a number of IT roles both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Stuart met his English wife Rhonda in Auckland while home on a holiday from England. They returned to New Zealand for good in 1999 and now have 4 children who pretty much occupy every waking moment away from work. Stuart has a great interest in aviation and hopes to complete his private pilot's licence this year (although he says that every year).

Tamsin Oliver

Tamsin joined Vision's Customer Care Team in a Software Support role in September 2011, after several years in a similar role for another Bay of Plenty software developer. Tamsin brings a diverse range of skills to Vision, with a background in teaching at the BOP Polytechnic, 2 years experience handling up to 100 calls a day at two busy national call centres, and an absolute passion for documentation and customer service.

Proud to be a local girl, Tamsin was born and raised in Tauranga. She and her son Ben have recently moved to the Mount and been lucky enough to find a flat right on the beach, and they're loving their new lifestyle. Tamsin loves to sing and in 2010 recorded a CD of cover songs, an experience she hopes to repeat soon. You can listen to her sing on her Facebook Fan Page.

Wayne Reilly

Wayne joined Vision in April 2008 as a Software Tester, having previously worked in a similar role for a multi-national software developer specialising in solutions for UK electricity start up companies. Before starting his testing career, Wayne spent twenty years working in telecommunications learning to problem solve, and enjoying figuring out how things work.

Most weekends are spent riding on the open road on his road bike or doing the impossible task of trying to keep up with his youngest son riding through the bush on dirt bikes.
